Graduate School Ambassador Application

    The University of Memphis Graduate School Ambassador Program is more than a volunteer opportunity. It's a chance to represent the Graduate School, develop skills, and help future Tigers discover what makes UofM a great place to pursue graduate education.

    We believe that students recruit students. Graduate School Ambassadors share their experiences, connect with prospective students, support recruitment events, assist with outreach initiatives, and serve as welcoming representatives of the Graduate School. Through activities such as tabling on campus, leading campus tours, participating in Grad Chats, assisting with events, and sharing their stories on social media, Ambassadors play an important role in shaping the next generation of graduate students.

    Ambassadors serve for one academic year (August through May) and are expected to attend required trainings and meetings, maintain professionalism, remain in good academic standing with a minimum 3.25 GPA, and participate in a minimum of 9 activity hours a semester (approximately 3 hours per month).

    In return, ambassadors gain valuable leadership experience, receive Graduate School swag, and a letter of recommendation upon request. Ambassadors also receive a $500 scholarship, distributed as $250 at the end of the Fall and Spring semesters.
